Vijay Devarakonda, the young hero from Tollywood has got recognition as a star hero with ‘Arjun Reddy’. He set a new trend with ‘Arjun Reddy’. After that he committed series of movies. Today his Movie ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ cmae before audiences. Let us see? Whether he got success with the movie or he disappointed his fans..
Story: Computer and Video Game Designer Ragamalika (Shivani Singh). It is her ambition to design humanoid games in contrast to the games of violence. Nikhil (Vijay Devarakonda) is a young man who is addicted for computer games. He spent weeks and months playing games. Chat with girls. He believes that there is a world in the computer than outside. He sees Ragamalika with his Facebook friends. He also tries to make friendship with her. But she refuses. She asks to play a game to make friends with her. With that she gives some clues and tell him to find her address. And what kind of experiences did Nikhil faced after getting out of from his computer world and search for the Ragamalika? Where did both of them met in the scenes?
How is it: This is new type of story. The director did well in expressing the story. But he failed in presenting it on the screen exactly what he thought. As we see a friend playing a fun game in the computer, we seem to see a short film on the computer. Early sequences of movie seems dull. The story becomes interesting when the heroine comes to play and the game starts. The sequences in searching heroin seems lagging, but as a part of whole game it will be interesting. The darker angle behind of social media is also can be seen in story. But climax changed total concept of the film. If director had concentrated more on the story may be the result would be good.
Vijay Devarakonda has done well in acting. Although there is scope for acting he gave his best performance in character range. Heroine Shivani Singh also impressed with acting. The rest of the cast done well respective roles. Named actors do not appear on the screen as movie was done with limited budget. Technically the film is perfect. The story will reflect current situations. Though the story is good, the scenes are paradoxical which do not fit into two and half hours film. Music and camera performance is good. Production values seem to be low quality.
+ Vijay Devarakonda acting
– Lack of commercial elements
-Lagging second part
-Disappointing climactic sequences
Final Rating : 2.5/5
