CM Chandrababu Naidu Meets PM Modi Over AP Pending Issues
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu met PM Narendra Modi after 1 year and is discussing on re-division of constituencies, Polavaram Project pending works, revenue deficits, bifurcation promises and also on the division as per 9th & 10 schedules. Chandrababu’s main agenda of meeting PM is the completion of Polavaram Project by the end of 2018 and Special Package to Andhra Pradesh.
The 17-page monetary sentence has been handed over to the Prime Minister. Chandrababu Naidu asked the Prime Minister to approve the full-scale assessments submitted to the Polavaram project at Rs 58,000 crore, allocating enough funds in the next budget for the construction of the Amaravati capital, and increase the number of Legislative Assembly constituencies in the state from 175 to 225 and fulfill the assurances given in the state reorganization act.
Polavaram project has already been allocated from the state government to the present cost of Rs 3,000 crore from the central govt. Requested to that, the entire cost of the Polavaram project is to be sought by the central government.
Chandrababu discussed with Modi regarding the Railway Zone in Visakhapatnam, Amaravati Metro Rail, and other issues.
