Aadhar link to Govt.Services by March 31st 2018: Supreme Court
The Supreme Court will come up with an inquiry into the lawsuits challenging the necessity of connecting Aadhar number to various government services and welfare schemes. The Supreme Court on Thursday said the petitions will be filed after the Constitution bench comprising of five members.
The government once again clarified that the deadline for connecting Aadhaar is scheduled to be completed by March 31 next year.
The Supreme Court has already informed that it is ready to extend the existing 31 December deadline to March 31, 2018. But once again, it is clear. Attorney General KK Venugopal told the court on behalf of the government.
But the linking aadhar to mobile number is the last date of February 6 next year, the Attorney General said. The decision was taken by the Supreme Court. Venugopal made it clear that no action will be taken against the Non-Aadhaar card holders.
